Wealth accumulation is always on the top of the minds for many Singaporeans. We work so hard, day and night without counting the hours. We sacrifice alot for choosing this path. It’s a real challenge and many have given up prematurely and succumbed to living within means. Some  even fall into depression because they failed miserably. Well wealth accumulation is not simple and straightforward. It’s a possession that everyone wants. So how do you overcome this  challenging situation and build your own pot of gold. Firstly you must have a plan. Then you need to execute that plan. Lastly you need to be willing to die for that plan. Sounds simple but there is more to it. There are certain characteristics or attributes you will need to acquire. You have to be the best at what you do. It can be anything. Just come up with the plan. That’s the first step. Next, you have to execute it. Talk is cheap. We need to put in the effort to execute the plan. Make sure you are responsible for making things happen.

Work day and night if you have to. Just make it happen! Lastly die with the plan. Make sure you are the best at what you do. Even at your death bed you should be thinking about being your best so that even after passing on people will say “he died trying his best”. Till you become the best at what you do, you have no option to give up. As long as you can breathe, you are alive, if you are alive there’s no excuse to give up. I mean what else will you be doing in life. It’s ok to make mistakes. Learn from it and better yourself. Everything that happens is for your best because we all live in a perfect universe. Remember you are the best. You deserve nothing but the best. We need to learn to love what we do and how we can make things better than before. Don’t always take things as it is. Constantly look at improving how we do things. Don’t do different things.  Do things differently. I’m not a trend follower, I’m a trend setter. Knowledge is powerful so read up often. It keeps your mind open to new ideas and opportunities. Passion is a good fire starter for most entrepreneurs. Remember everyone needs money but the drive for money is not going to keep you motivated to push on when time gets tough. Only passion can give me the drive to push on during the toughest of times. Today I do the things that no one will do so that tomorrow I can do the things that no one can do.
